DESCRIPTION

This is a special Deluxe Kickstarter Edition. Instead of the wooden cubes, cylinders and standard meeples used in the standard version of the game, this version includes 144 3D contents: the fruits miniatures (74 fruits, divided among apples, strawberries, blueberries, peaches, lemons, and oranges) and jars of jams miniatures (42 jams of 6 different kinds), and the custom meeples in several colors.
It also features the Initial Resources expansion, which has 20 additional cards. This expansion, and other unlocked expansions will not be included in the retail Deluxe version but will be sold separately.

In the '50s, a small town in the US was famous for its fruit trees. Local small businesses were competing against each other, producing ever better jams, which in turn made the town grow more and more famous. Every year after the Christmas party the most succesful entrepreneur was given a prize: will you manage to win the prize this year?

In Frutticola players will take on the role of business leaders specialized in growing and selling fruits and jams, trying to become the most rich in town by the end of the year! With just a few Workers and Farmers, you'll have to choose when to send them to the orchards and when to buy pesticides, fertilizers and other items in the shops. Who will prove to be the best entrepreneur?

A game lasts 1 year, divided into 4 rounds (the 4 seasons). First, the players choose an action card, which shows the number and what kind of employees will be used in the round and the special power available. Then the players take turns sending their employees to take specific actions, one at a time.

There are 6 action spaces available:
- the Town Store - where useful development tiles can be bought
- the Orchard - where fruits can be harvested
- the Chemical Plant - where pesticides and fertilizers can be bought
- the Factory - where fruits are turned into jams
- the Market - where jams and crates of fruit can be sold
- the House- where you can hire apprentices

At the beginning of the game, every player receives 5 action cards (or drafts them, if already experienced) and plays one per round.
The card will show the number and kind of employees available, the special power for the round, and what will be the turn order.
Some cards are very powerful and let you use many employees, but they will give penalties for the round (like not being able to sell your wares) and will give you a low position in the turn order; other cards are less powerful, but will give you benefits like free fertilizers, pesticides or development tiles, and will make you be first during the turn order, which will allow you to choose the best action space available!
