The Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game is an exciting wargame based upon J. R. R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. Delve back into the fiery depths of Mount Doom as this strategy game portrays the classic struggle of Good vs Evil with all of your favourite characters from Middle-Earth, allowing you to replay all the epic battles from the books and big-screen. Will the Riders of Rohan and the Army of the Dead arrive in time to aid the White city of Gondor against the Dark Lord of Mordor and his orc hordes? Will Sauron retake the one ring and claim Middle-Earth for his own? Will Gandalf defeat the mighty Balrog? Only you can decide...
The Battle of Pelennor Fields is the largest battle during the War of the Ring. Sauron sent his forces to destroy Minas Tirith, the white city of Gondor. The Witch-king of Angmar lead his forces from Minas Morgul, while Corsairs ships were sent along the river Anduin with Haradrim and Easterlings forces. The situation was extremely dire for the forces of Gondor, but then a glimmer of hope arrived on the horizen. King Theoden had arrived with his Riders of Rohan, the greatest horsemen to ever live! Even with the might of Rohan the tide could not be turned to favour the forces of good. The day was close to being lost when the Corsair fleet arrived, but instead of reinforcements for Mordor the ships had been commandeered by Aragorn, Gimli, Legolas and the Army of the dead. These spectral warriors soon made short work of the orc hordes, destroying a larget proportion of Saurons forces, saving the day.
